Is this a "fractional CTO"?
It's close, minus the grandiosity: I'm your business's technical judgement for as many hours as you need. For most SMEs, a few well-aimed hours a month solve what would otherwise require a full-time executive.
How do you work with our development team?
With respect and without policing: my job is to help the team deliver better, not to point fingers. I diagnose how they work, propose concrete improvements and apply them with them.
How much dedication does the advisory take?
The usual start is biweekly sessions plus availability for one-off decisions, adjusted per stage. No lock-in: if a month brings no value, we stop.
Can you evaluate a quote a vendor sent me?
Yes — a frequent assignment: I review the proposal, spot inflated items or hidden risks and give you concrete arguments to negotiate.
